Payment method and Cancellations
What is the payment method?
To confirm a booking on our website, you will be required to pay 100% of the stay's cost by credit card.
You must take into account the following points:
- Deposit: All bookings made through our website require a €100 deposit.
- Withholding of €100: Once your booking is confirmed, you will be asked to complete the '5-Step Registration'. During this registration, a €100 hold will be placed on your card as a damage deposit.
- 7 days after your departure, this €100 hold will be automatically released, provided there are no significant cleaning issues or damage to the structure or contents beyond normal wear and tear.
What is our cancellation policy?
- 30-day cancellation policy: it's the one bookings made through our website have. This means that if you cancel your reservation more than 30 days before the arrival date, we will refund you the full amount paid.
- Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund of the amount paid up to that point, minus the fee charged by our payment gateway - Stripe.com, which is:
- 1.5% + €0.25 if the refund is made to a consumer VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Maestro, Cartes Bancaires, and UnionPay card from an EU country, plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.
- 1.9% + €0.25 if the refund is made to a commercial, corporate, or business VISA or MasterCard from an EU country, plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.
- 2.5% + €0.25 if the refund is made to the United Kingdom.
- 3.25% + €0.25 if the refund is made to any other country not listed above.
- Bookings cancelled 30 days or less before the arrival date will not receive a refund.
- If you wish to cancel your reservation at any time, you must let us know by sending an email to info@livinglascanteras.com
Exception to the cancellation policy for website bookings
If, within 30 days or less of your arrival, your transport to the island is cancelled or you suffer from a justified illness that prevents you from travelling, we will hold the amount already paid so you can use it for a future stay at the same property on any available date.
